Fish Bowl Drink

Save For Later

My fun fishbowl drink combines tangy pineapple and sweet peach flavors. One sip, and you'll understand why this is the best summer cocktail ever.

I love fruity drinks like the Sangria Margarita, the sea breeze, orange Fireball Jello Shots, and the Tequila Sunrise. This fish bowl drink is another of my favorites. It's perfect for parties and a total showstopper that could also double as a centerpiece. It reminds me of the islands or being on vacation. It's perfect for pool parties, beach picnics, and bachelor/bachelorette parties. Kid party? Try my nonalcoholic ocean water or blue baby shower punch instead.

The Fish Bowl Drink will be the talk of your party

  • Fruity flavors: Tangy pineapple, tart lime, and sweet peach
  • Impressive: Guests will "oooh" and "ahh"
  • Easy To Make: No fancy equipment is required!

Ingredient Notes and Shopping Tips

a collage showing blue curacao, pineapple rum, pineapple juice, sprite, and pineapple peach drink.
  • Pineapple Rum: I used Barcardi in this recipe. Malibu is also good.
  • Blue Curacao: This blue spirit is made with the Laraha citrus fruit. I like the brands Drillaud and Bols.
  • Pineapple Peach Limeade: I used the brand Calypso found at Walmart.
    • If you can't find this, regular limeade may be used instead.
  • Pineapple Juice: Look for this in the juice aisle near the juices. You could also use the juice from canned pineapple.
  • Sprite: Any lemon-lime soda can be used here, such as Sierra Mist or 7 Up.

Prefer a Less Sweet Drink?

You can also use club soda or sparkling water for a less sweet drink.

️Krystle's Tips️

  1. Look for fish bowls at the pet store, craft store, or Amazon.  Aim for one that holds around 10 cups or 2.5 liters.
  2. Chill: Chill your bowl in the freezer for 30-60 minutes to help keep the drink ice cold.
  3. Avoid Non-Edible Ingredients: Don't add glass discs or marbles to the bottom, no matter how cute it looks. It poses a choking hazard.
  4. How Strong Is This Drink? It is around 13 proof or 6% alcohol by volume for around one cup serving. This equals 1-1.5 standard drinks. Always enjoy responsibly.
Do I Have To Use a Fish Bowl?

While this drink is traditionally served in a fish bowl, it doesn’t have to be. You can substitute any glass. A short wide glass will look best.

Garnish Last

Add the Swedish fish just before serving as they have a tendency to sink.

    2. This fish bowl turned out awesome and so cute! Had to use regular limeade but otherwise didn't change anything. Served with fun straws, paper umbrellas and we did add the candy fish!
