Snickers Caramel Apple Salad
My Snickers apple salad features tart apples, rich caramel, and plenty of Snickers. This easy no bake recipe only requires about 10 minutes or prep!

The Salad Everyone Actually Wants Seconds Of
I love easy no bake desserts like cannoli dip, funfetti dip, and biscoff tiramisu. As soon as there's a hint of Fall in the air my family asks me to make this caramel apple Snickers salad. It's perfect for potlucks, parties, and using up leftover Halloween candy.
Why Our Recipe Is the Best: A Sprinkle of Food Science
- We Use Lemon Juice: Lemon juice is an acid which deactivates the enzyme that causes apples to turn brown.
- We Pat Our Apples Dry: Apples release water as they sit. Patting them dry helps prevent a soggy salad.
- We Freeze Our Snickers: This makes them so much easier to chop without the caramel sticking to the the knife.
Ingredient Notes and Shopping Tips
- Apples: I like Granny Smith apples as they're tart and hold their shape well. You could also do half Granny Smith and half honey crisp. Avoid McIntosh and Red Delicious which are softer and don't hold their shape as well.
- Cool Whip: I like Extra Creamy. Be sure to thaw overnight in the fridge.
- Pudding: Be sure to grab instant pudding NOT cool and serve which requires heat to set up. I use vanilla but cheesecake or even white chocolate would be a tasty twist.
- Snickers: You could also use Milky Way or Twix.
- Milk: Use whole milk for the creamiest, thickest pudding.
I would suggest no longer than a few hours ahead. It's best enjoyed the day it is made.
The skin adds color and texture so I leave it on. If you're sensitive to texture you can certainly remove it.
