  • Funfetti Cake Mix
  • Vanilla Yogurt: Be sure to use full fat for the best texture.
  • Cool Whip: I used extra creamy. Be sure to store in the fridge so it is softened when you are ready to use it. Avoid thawing at room texture or in the microwave.

Cake Batter Dip Frequently Asked Questions

1. Can You Make It Ahead?
This Funfetti Dip Recipe is best when made ahead. The cake batter dip needs time to sit in the refrigerator. It is perfect when made the night before. At a minimum I suggest keeping it in the fridge for at least an hour before serving. This allows it to come to the perfect temperature, and also allows the flavors to come together. Making it ahead means one less thing you have to worry about on the day of your party!

2. Can You Freeze It?
While I have not tried freezing Funfetti Cake Dip, I have heard of others who have. Each of the ingredients used to make it freezes well. This leads me to think that you can freeze leftover dip. Again, I haven’t personally tried it. If you do please let us know how it goes.

3. What Should You Use For Dipping?
The best thing about this dunkaroo dip recipe is you can use whatever you want for dipping. I like to use  animal crackers, graham crackers, oreos, Teddy Grahams or vanilla wafers. If you like a salty sweet combo pretzels would also be delicious. You could also use fruit like grape or strawberries if you wanted. are common choices to use for dipping into this cake batter dip. I have also seen this dip served with fruit like grapes and strawberries.

4. Is It Safe To Eat Raw Cake Mix?
I am personally okay with eating raw cake mix. However, it does contain raw flour. If you are nervous about consuming it you can always toast it like this.
