Kool Aid Pie
My Kool Aid pie features a light and fluffy cherry filling inside a graham cracker crust. This easy recipe only requires 4 ingredients and 5 minutes of active time!

I love easy no bake pies like my Smores pie, grasshopper pie, and banana split pie. Another one my family loves is this Kool Aid pie. It's perfect when the weather is too hot to even think about turning on the oven. It's secret is that the citric acid that makes Kool Aid tart combines with the milk proteins to loosely coagulate. It's similar to what happens in Key Lime Pie and makes this pie super fluffy yet light.
Ingredient Notes and Shopping Tips

- Sweetened Condensed Milk: Double check that you grab sweetened condensed milk not evaporated milk as the cans can look very similar. Evaporated milk is too thin and not sweet enough for this recipe.
- Cool Whip: I prefer extra creamy. Avoid low fat versions which will not hold up as well. Thaw overnight in the fridge, do not microwave.
- Kool Aid: I used Cherry but any flavor will work. We've also made this recipe with orange and blue raspberry lemonade.

Be Gentle
Overmixing can remove too much air from the Cool Whip. Fold in until it just disappears for a light and creamy pie.
