Frequently Asked Questions
What Kind Of Vodka Should I Use? You can use any kind of vodka in this sea breeze cocktail. You’ll be mixing the vodka with sweet juices so the quality is less important. It’s fine to get a less expensive brand, as you’ll hardly be able to tell the difference!
Should I Use Fresh or Bottled Grapefruit Juice? I like using freshly squeezed for a tarter drink. If you prefer a sweeter drink, or don’t often have grapefruits in the house feel free to substitute bottled.
Sea Breeze Origin
The sea breeze was created in the 1960s in response to the growing popularity of vodka. It was originally crafted as a promotion by the Ocean Spray Company. In addition, the Seagram Company used the sea breeze in the 1960s to promote its aged Ancient Golden Gin.
