Dill Pickle Dip
My dill pickle dip is tangy, creamy and full of pickle flavor in every bite. This easy recipe is always the first thing gone at parties.

I love easy dips for entertaining like my bacon cheeseburger dip and my pizza dip. Another recipe I make for almost every gathering is this dill pickle dip. It is ready in minutes. We like ours with Ritz crackers, pretzel chips, and bread. Try it next as a burger sauce or even as a dipping sauce for fried pickles!
Why Our Recipe Is the Best: A Sprinkle of Food Science
- We Use a Cream Cheese Base: Mayo, sour cream, or ranch can mask the pickle flavor. Cream cheese lets the briny pickle flavor shine.
- We Add Worcestershire Sauce: It adds umami notes!
- We Pat Our Pickles Dry: This prevents the dip from having too much liquid.
Ingredient Notes and Shopping Tips

- Cream Cheese: Use full fat block style cream cheese not the whipped variety. Be sure it is fully softened. Around 30-60 minutes on the counter is perfect. You can also dunk the foil package in warm water for a few minutes. Do not microwave!
- Worcestershire Sauce: I always use Lea and Perrins!
- Pickles: Use dill not sweet pickles. Our favorite brand is Claussen.
Don't Skip Patting the Pickles Dry
You don't want too much liquid or the dip can become runny and not as thick.
