Jalapeno Popper Dip: This creamy and spicy dip makes the perfect game day food!
This Bacon Jalapeno Popper Dip is the fastest and easiest dip, but it tastes like you worked on it for hours. The creamy, salty, and slightly spicy flavor is a true winner for the guys in my family.
If you like things very spicy use extra jalapenos. If you like things milder be sure to remove the seeds as that is where most of the heat is.

I like to serve my Bacon Jalapeno Popper Dip with assorted veggies and crackers for dipping. I like using wheat thins, ritz, bread cubes, and bell pepper strips for dipping.
TIP: I like to bake my bacon jalapeno popper dip in two smaller dishes (reduced cooking time a few minutes) I like the dip best when HOT and cheesy right out of the oven. If I cook it in two pans at different times I can put one out at the start of the party, and pull the second one out once the first one is gone. Readers have even shared their success with making their jalapeno popper dip in the crockpot!

I know some boys in my house that would love this dip! They’d love to sit around on game day dipping into this!
Would love to make it for a gathering im going to. Can i make it a day ahead. and put in fridge and bake the day im taking it. or make it 2 hrs before it is served, can it be served at room temperature. help.
I wouldn’t serve at room temp as you want it to be hot and melty. You could make it ahead or stick it in the crockpot though I think.
This dip looks fantastic! Can’t wait to make it! Do you see substituting Greek yogurt for the sour cream causing any issues?
Hi Natalie,
Sorry for the slow reply here! 🙁
No that’s great idea! Wouldn’t suggest subbing low fat Greek though as the texture might be off. Fat=creaminess! 🙂
Made this Sun for my Dads 60th Bday party it was a huge hit and the pyrex looked licked clean. My hubby and I have been dreaming of it since so I’m making it now for our anniversary dinner! Lol calories don’t count on your anniversary, right?
Amazing!!!! We like to dip tortilla chips in it and I used a bag of shredded mexican cheese blend (Kraft) turned out sooo good. Also 4 slices of thick sliced pepper bacon not sure if that is more or less than what is called for.
Andrea,
So sorry for the slow reply. SO glad to hear you all enjoyed it. So true calories don’t count on anniversaries, Christmas, or birthdays! 😀
