Birthday Cake Shot
My birthday cake shot features rich cake vodka and smooth white chocolate. This super easy cocktail tastes just like a birthday cake!

A Birthday Cake Shot So Good, You'll Forget About the Cake!
I love sweet dessert drinks like the Mudslide, espresso martinis, and chocolate martinis. This sweet birthday cake shot is my new favorite. It tastes just like a cake with frosting and only requires 2 ingredients. If you're obsessed like I am, you'll love my Dunkaroo Dip, Funfetti Pancakes, and Cake Batter Bars. We love this shot for birthdays, parties, or any time I'm craving something sweet. Having a birthday party? You'll love my Fireball Jello Shots too.
Ingredient Notes and Shopping Tips

- Cake Vodka: I prefer Pinnacle. Vanilla or whipped vodka will also work in a pinch.
- Great In: Boozy milkshakes too
- White Chocolate Liqueur: I always grab Godiva. Look for it in the cordials section.
- Great In: Chocolate Martinis and spiked hot chocolate
- Frosting: Use homemade or store-bought. I like to use frosting from my grocery store's bakery section for that "authentic" flavor.
No Frosting? No Problem!
If you don't want to use frosting you can also rim the edge of the glass with anything sweet and sticky such as marshmallow fluff, corn syrup, or even simple syrup.
Krystle's Tips and Tricks
- Chill: Chill your ingredients and glasses to keep your cocktail ice cold.
- Perfect Sprinkle Rim: Use two shallow plates or bowls:one for frosting and one for sprinkles.
- Serve a Crowd: Line up your glasses and form an assembly line for dipping and pouring in the ingredients.
- Make Ahead: You can make this up to 6 hours in advance and store it in the fridge. Add whipped cream just before serving.
Cocktail Version
Turn it into a cocktail instead of a shot by topping it off with heavy cream, half and half, or birthday cake coffee creamer. You could even use my birthday cake ice cream and make it a float. You can also serve it on the rocks for a martini-style cocktail.
