This eye-catching duck fart shot is easy to make and so delicious. It is rich and creamy with notes of vanilla, coffee, and chocolate. Just like my Chocolate Martini and Colorado Bulldog, this drink is rich and creamy. They're great for parties, holidays like New Year's Eve, or even celebrating bachelor or bachelorette parties.

☕Ingredient Notes and Shopping Tips☕

crown royal whiskey, baileys Irish cream, Kahlua coffee liqueur, and an empty glass.
  • Kahlua:  This sweet liqueur has bold coffee notes with a hint of vanilla.
  • Whiskey: I like using Crown Royal Whiskey. Its caramel notes go great with this dessert drink. Jim Beam Vanilla or Canadian Club would also work well.
  • Irish Cream: I love Bailey's. Kerrygold is also very good. Also Great In: Mudslides, Chocolate Martinis, and Hot Cocoa

FAQS

Can I Make These For A Crowd?

Yes, but you'll still have to play bartender and make each one individually. You could also combine all the ingredients together into a cocktail if you don't care about the layered effect.

Krystle's Tips

  1. Use a Bar Spoon: Pouring the alcohol directly into the glass may mix your layers. Instead, pour them onto the back of a bar spoon to reduce splashing and give you three district layers. A bar spoon is just a spoon with an extra-long handle. If you don't have one in your house, try using a tablespoon instead.
  2. Pouring slowly will also prevent things from mixing together.
  3. Keep the Order: Layered drinks need to have the liquid with the highest sugar content on the bottom, or they'll run together.
  4. Start with chilled ingredients and a cold glass for an ice-cold cocktail.

A Sprinkle of Science: Layering

Don't Touch: Don't allow the spoon to touch the layer below it. In scientific terms, this will break the surface tension, and the layers will mix.

I love B52s so really had to try this duck fart shot. I think I prefer these shots as they're not as sweet and the whiskey adds a lovely oaky flavour.
