Sparkling Watermelon Vodka Cocktail
My watermelon vodka cocktail is bubbly, refreshing, and made with fresh watermelon juice. This easy drink only requires 4 ingredients.

This Watermelon Vodka Cocktail turns four ingredients into a cocktail everyone will rave about. It's lighter than a margarita and easier than Sangria. It tastes like summer in a glass. If you're feeling extra fancy, you can put it in a hollowed out half watermelon.
Ingredient Notes and Shopping Tips

- Watermelon: Choose a ripe watermelon that feels heavy for its size. Look for one with a deep green color with a yellow field spot. Leftover cubed melon? Use it up with my frozen watermelon margaritas.
- Lime: Use fresh lime juice for the best flavor.
- Vodka: I like Grey Goose or Tito's. New Amsterdam is a good budget version. You could also use gin.
- Ginger Ale: Vernor's has the best flavor. If you have access to it where you live definitely grab it.
Krystle's Tips: Steal My Culinary School Secrets
- Chill your watermelon 24 hours in advance.
- Taste as you go. If your watermelon is super sweet add a little more lime juice. Not sweet enough? Consider more soda or a dash of simple syrup.
- Roll your lime on the counter and microwave for 15-20 seconds to get the most juice possible.
- Freeze melon cubes or balls to keep your drink cold without watering it down.
