Easy Bacon Cheeseburger Dip
My bacon cheeseburger dip is super creamy with tons of crispy bacon and flavorful ground beef. This game day MVP scores a touchdown before the game even starts.

I love making unique and creative dips like crab rangoon dip, jalapeno popper dip, pizza dip, and philly cheesesteak dip. And who says you need a bun to get that delicious burger taste? This bacon cheeseburger dip takes the delicious flavors you love and turns it into a decadent cheesy dip! Savory beef, creamy cheese, and plenty of pickles. I also love that is a one pot recipe that is so simple to make. This makes it awesome for entertaining at events like game day parties or tailgaiting. Bonus: Only one pan to wash if you make it all in a cast iron skillet. Serve with fries, soft pretzels or by the spoonful!
Why This Recipe Works: A Sprinkle of Food Science
- Lean Ground Beef: 90% lean beef gives you great flavor without being greasy.
- Secret Seasoning Blend: This makes this dip taste just like you favorite straight off the grill.
- Pickle Topping: The vinegar's acid cuts through this rich dip making every bite feel fresh.
Ingredient Notes and Shopping Tips
- Ground Beef: I used 90% lean. Ask for it at the meat counter or at your local butcher shop, if you only want a half pound. If using fattier versions be sure to drain first.
- Bacon: I like to use Hormel Black Label microwave bacon here. It saves time and isn't messy to fry!
- Cream Cheese: If you forget to soften your cream cheese you can do it quickly by placing the foil packet in warm water for 5-10 minutes.
- Cheeses: I used Cabot's Vermont extra sharp and yellow cheddar. Shred your own cheese if at all possible. Anti-caking agents in pre-shredded varieties can turn grainy when melted.
- Worcestershire sauce: The secret ingredient in our burgers. It adds a great umami flavor. Grab it next to the ketchup at the store.
Krystle's Tips: Steal My Culinary School Secrets
- Cut Cream Cheese Into Cubes: This helps it melt quickly and smoothly.
- Use a Cast Iron Skillet: They're oven safe, conduct heat well, and make a gorgeous serving dish.
Our favorites are waffle fries, soft pretzel bites ,tortilla chips, Fritos, potato chips, and Ritz crackers. Carrots or celery are a great choice too.

This looks so delicious, I can't wait to try this. I don't eat bacon or hamburger but I'm going to try this with Turkey bacon & Turkey burger, I bet it will still be great.
A crown pleaser! Huge hit at a BBQ recently and everyone loved it!
This looks absolutely amazing! I'm saving this recipe to try later. I can't wait to see how it goes. I bet it's so good.
That looks delicious. I should add to the lineup for the next Super Bowl. I thought the dill pickles were jalapenos at first...I bet those would be good too...
This worked exactly as written, thanks!
This is my kind of dip. I need to make it for our next movie night.
I was looking for something to bring to a potluck. This is the perfect idea!
Made this for our game night and WOW—everyone was hovering around the dip bowl! Creamy, cheesy, smoky, and so addictive. It really does taste like a cheeseburger in dip form. Total party hit!
A very fun dip to serve at a summer party or when it's game season!
This came out great and was a big hit at the party we hosted this weekend.
The best dip I've ever tried, add extra pickles if you can.
