Corona Sunrise
This Corona Sunrise drink has a sweet citrus flavor and gorgeous color. One sip, and you'll realize why it's a TikTok sensation!

My corona sunrise is inspired by the classic tequila sunrise. It features the same fruity flavors and bright colors you love but with a beer twist. It blends tart citrus flavors with sweet grenadine and smooth tequila. Best of all it's super easy! If you like citrusy cocktails try my blue lagoon, the sea breeze, or my greyhound drink next! Bonus: No glasses to wash up; everything is made right in the bottle. Simply recycle at the end of the evening. Just like my cookie dough croissants, this recipe went viral on TikTok.
We also love it for parties as guests can mix their own if desired.
Ingredient Notes and Shopping Tips

- Tequila: I like Jose Cuervo Especial tequila. It is a mixto tequila, which means it is made from both agave and cane sugar. Patron and Casamigos are also good.
- Also, try it in: Tequila sunrises, or Blue or Strawberry Margaritas. My sangria margarita or liquid marijuana drink is also a good choice.
- Orange Juice: I prefer no pulp for a smoother drink. You can also experiment with freshly squeezed or orange fruit juice blends like pineapple mango.
- Grenadine: This sweet red syrup is made from pomegranate juice. Look for in the mixers aisle near the tonic water. Use leftovers in my Shirley Temples. You can also make your own grenadine.
- Beer: Any pale Mexican beer such as Modelo Pacifico will also work
How To Make a Corona Sunrise
- Pour out (or drink) half of the beer.
- Pour in orange juice, grenadine, and tequila. You can also pour these into a pitcher and then pour into the beer bottle.
- Garnish with lime if desired.

️Tips️
- Pour Out Carefully: The halfway mark is at the top of the label on the bottle.
- Adjust To Your Tastes: Add more or less grenadine, depending on how sweet and red you want your drink to be.
- Keep Everything Ice Cold: Keep the beer in the fridge until you're ready to make this recipe.
- Avoid stirring or shaking the drink since the beer is carbonated.
- Add the grenadine last so that you get the cool ombre layered effect.
