No Bake Banana Split Pie

Save For Later

My no bake banana split pie is rich and creamy and ready in about 10 minutes.   It tastes like a banana split in pie form with pineapple, chocolate syrup, and peanuts.

I hate turning on the oven when it's hot out. I tend to make no bake desserts like my oreo cheesecake, or Choco tacos. My new favorite summer dessert is this easy no bake banana split pie. It takes my favorite ice cream parlor treat and turns it into the easiest summer dessert ever. It's perfect for cooling down on hot days or serving at picnics or potlucks.

Ingredient Notes and Shopping Tips

ingredients including Cool Whip, vanilla pudding, bananas, strawberries, cherries, and chocolate syrup.
  • Vanilla Pudding: Be sure to grab instant pudding. Cook and serve will not set up correctly in this recipe.
  • Milk: Use whole milk for the creamiest texture. Avoid nondairy milks which will not thicken properly.
  • Cool Whip: Thaw overnight in the fridge for best results. Do not microwave it which can make it runny. If you're in a hurry and forgot to thaw it place in a warm but not hot bowl of water.
  • Pineapple: Drain well to avoid too much liquid which can make the pie watery.
  • Bananas: Dip in lemon juice or pineapple juice to prevent them from turning brown.

Krystle's Tips: Steal My Culinary School Secrets

  1. Prepare filling up to a day in advance. Add toppings like chocolate syrup and peanuts just before serving.
  2. Add cherries at the last minute too as they tend to leech some of their color onto the whipped cream .
