Looking for a delicious easy pumpkin coffee drink without leaving your house? Read on!

In my family I am known as the night owl. I prefer to stay up until 12 or 1 AM, and then sleep until noon.

The rest of my family is just the opposite. My mom gets up at 4 A.M. in order to be at work at 7 A.M.

While I wouldn’t dream of doing chores until after dinner, she does the dishes and exercises before it is even daylight!!

Man just typing that makes me tired!

Our different sleep schedules mean we usually eat breakfast hours apart. However, on the weekend we like to come together over brunch.

The menu usually includes quiche, a coffee cake, and of course coffee.

Another thing you should know about our family is that we’re mostly homebodies. We’d rather stay home and read a good book than catch a movie, enjoy takeout than wait for a table at a restaurant, and make our own coffee drinks than wait in line.

Besides making a Coffee shop run would involve putting on real clothes and makeup. You never know when the paparazzi might be watching 😉

Our Saturday Morning brunch usually involves enjoying good food/drink, watching food network (questioning why food network hasn’t made me the next Ree Drummond), and fighting over who the dog’s favorite  lap is.

In the past I’ve wanted to make a homemade Pumpkin Spice Latte ,but was put off by how complicated they seem. There are 43422 spices involved that I just don’t keep in my pantry. In addition, you need to include a spoon of pumpkin. You and I both know I’d promise to use the rest of the can, and then forget and throw it out.

I’ve finally found an easy Homemade Pumpkin Spice Latte. The secret ingredient is Nestle Coffee Mate Pumpkin Spice Creamer.

    That sounds really good!!

  2. I have had good luck using Torani Pumpkin Spice syrup as well when trying to make the PS Latte that everyone is talking about. Quite frankly, I still prefer a good shot of amaretto or gingerbread syrup in my coffee, but when people ask for it, I bring out the PS syrup!

  3. YUM! I’m definitely going to try this, I’m going broke at Starbucks!

  4. That looks amazing! And I’m sure it’s much cheaper than buying one from Starbucks or even McDonalds.

  5. Hi Krystle – love the dishes! My grandmother had a similar set when I was little (well, who didn’t have that set at one point or another?)

I must say, your coffee doesn’t look like the coffee I am accustomed to making at home; it looks like dessert that you can only have at an expensive coffee house! I hope more people take your homebody advice and make this at home instead of spending $5 a cup! The ingredients list alone has me swooning…

I can’t wait to try it one morning before the kiddos get up and catch me,
