Starbucks Pink Drink Recipe

Save For Later

This creamy fruity drink is reminiscent of Starbucks' pink drink. It is cute, refreshing, and reminds me of a pink starburst.

Have you tried the Starbucks pink drink that is blowing up Instagram? If I'm not ordering a Peppermint Mocha or a Vanilla Bean Frapp, this is my usual order. They look so good, and you want to order one but it costs $5! Well, now you can make your own at home with this recipe for a copycat version that will cost about $2 or less per drink.  It is fruity yet creamy. If you like pink starbursts, you'll love this drink. Plus it's hecka cute to sip on while shopping or running errands. This recipe is very easy to make and it tastes just like the real thing.

If you don't want to make a Starbucks run or are just plain socially awkward when ordering off of Starbucks' secret menu like me give this homemade Starbucks pink drink recipe a try.

Ingredient Notes

  • Acai Tea: Acai tea is a green tea blend. You can use your favorite tea blend. Passionfruit, green tea, or even vanilla would be yummy options.
  • Strawberries: You can use fresh or frozen.
  • Coconut Milk: Coconut milk is a white, semi-solid food produced from soaking and grinding raw coconut with hot water. The raw coconut meat is grated down to form a slurry and the slurry is then heated in water. It has more fat than typical non-dairy milk leading to an ultra-creamy drink. Look for it in the Asian section of your grocery store.

Tips

  1. Adjust the sugar to your desired level of sweetness. You could also use simple syrup, honey, or a sugar-free option if desired.
  2. Serve in a tall glass with a straw.
  3. Garnish with fresh mint leaves or your favorite berries to make it your own.
  4. Use fruit juice ice cubes to avoid a watered-down drink.
  5. Steep your tea for as long or short as you prefer. I usually go for around 3-5 minutes.

Yum! Refreshing and delicious! Love having this ingredient list. Now I can easily adjust the sugar! It's always too sweet from Starbucks and it's a real pain to get the sugar adjusted correctly. This is absolutely perfect!

This is right up my alley! I had all the ingredients in the house so I whipped it up this evening. It is just as good as Starbucks and a lot less expensive.
