It is easy to make a Vanilla Bean Frappuccino Starbucks style at home. In fact, I bet you already have all the ingredients in your pantry. We’ll be using:
- Milk: I prefer whole.
- Heavy Cream: Don’t leave out the cream as it gives the perfect Frappe texture.
- Sugar: Always a good idea!
- Vanilla: You can use vanilla extract, or vanilla beans here. I would not suggest imitation vanilla.

Making a vanilla creme frappuccino at home could not be easier. I bet you can whip it up faster than you can get through the Starbucks line. Anyways, back to the Starbucks vanilla bean frappuccino recipe. Simply put all ingredients except the whipped cream into the blender. Then, blend, blend, blend,and you’re done. Finally, I like to top mine off with whipped cream, because whipped cream is always a good idea!

a. Dairy Free or Vegan: Substitute soy, almond, or coconut milk for a dairy free treat. Also, you can even buy coconut whipped cream!
b. Skinny: Fat free milk and an artificial sweetener can make this drink skinny too. Skinny drink=an extra pastry right?!
d. Mocha: Drizzle in ⅓-1/4 cup of chocolate syrup. Yum!

Vanilla Bean Frappuccino
- 1 Cup Whole Milk
- ½ Cup Heavy Cream
- 3 Tablespoons White Sugar
- 1 Vanilla Bean (or 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract)
- 2 Cups Ice
- Whipped Cream If Desired
- Pour whole milk, heavy cream, white sugar, vanilla bean (or extract), and ice into a blender. Blend until smooth.
- Top with whipped cream if desired.
