If I go to Starbucks in the evening, I always opp for a decaff variety. Call me crazy, but I feel like even Decaf coffee will keep me staring at the ceiling with my thoughts swirling around like a tornado until the wee hours of the morning.

Did you know Starbucks has several non coffee/non tea beverages as well? Besides hot chocolates, steamers, and smoothies Starbucks has several coffee free Frappuchinos! It basically a fancy word for a milkshake! My favorite one is the Strawberries and Cream Starbucks Frapp variety.

With just a few simple ingredients and less 5 minutes you can make this delicious strawberries and cream frappuccino at home!

If you are a gluten free baker you are no stranger to Xanthan gum. It not a gum at all but rather a flour type substance. In this recipe it serves as a thickener to make the milkshake thick and creamy.

If you don't have it on hand you may want to use a little extra ice cream. Be sure to use full fat ice cream for the richest, creamiest strawberries and creme frappuccino recreation.

Skip the drive through and make this creamy strawberry creme frappuccino in your kitchen in less than 5 minutes!

This recipe is more like a smoothie if they'd add a banana. I think they need to add a splash of coffee (decaffeinated if u want?)

    1. Hi Kat,

I think it's meant to be a non-coffee drink for people or maybe kids that go there and don't want any coffee. But to each their own! Let me know if you end up trying it with coffee!

  2. Thank you for saving me some money (since I won't need to get this at Starbucks anymore!) I'm planning on making it tomorrow...

Yay I'm happy to help. Try pureeing some strawberries with white sugar until it is sweet enough for your taste.
