Revlon Colorstay Foundation Review +Before/After Pics

Disclosure: The Revlon Colorstay Foundation used in this review was purchased with my own money.

Revlon says: “Longwearing coverage with a lightweight formula that won’t cake, fade, or rub off. With Time Release Technology specifically formulated for combination or oily skin to control oil absorption and shine.

Baking Beauty says: Revlon Colorstay for Oily/Combination Skin in Buff is full coverage, easy to blend, and lasts all day. It holds holy grail status!

Revlon Colorstay Foundation Review

Effectiveness:5/5

Pigmentation:5/5

I would consider Revlon Colorstay a full coverage foundation. It virtually eliminates the need for concealer for me. It easily covers my hyperpigmentation and redness. I still need some concealer under my eyes and possibly on a really red new blemish. Other than that this will cover most anything!

Texture:5/5

The foundation itself is liquidy almost to the point of being runny. However, it glides on and blends easily. I also found it didn’t settle into pores/scars/fine lines.

Ease of use:5/5

Lasting Power:5/5

Unlike most foundations, this one never fades or gets patchy on me. You don’t even need to set it with powder (I only use powder on my forehead and nose!).

It also does a great job of keeping my t zone matte. Most foundations make me oily in 3-4 hours. This one kept me matte for 7-8 hours.

Packaging:⅗

I really wish this had a pump. Because it is so runny, it’s easy to get too much product out.

Value:5/5

full coverage that lasts all day in the drugstore? I LOVE this foundation more than most others both high end and low end!

Did you experience this foundation being a little on the gray side? I tired a few shades and found each looking a little gray. Everything was great other than that. By the way this foundation looks great on your skin!

      Thanks Belinda!

I didn’t notice that it was gray on me I’m sorry. If only we could swatch drug store foundations in the store. 🙁

Looks like perfection on you, so flawless but not made up looking. I will check this out the next time I go shopping!

Wow, it works really well and your skin looks flawless! I find it hard to find a good shade match though.

Hey Krystle, I’ve heard great things about this one and I’m glad you like it! It does look like a foundation that has great coverage. My favorite drugstore foundation is Bourjois Healthy Mix. It just works well and is pretty fuss-free!

I use Revlon foundation and it works very well in covering my imperfections on my face. I like that it does not feel caked on my face, and that it gives me a smooth complexion. Great foundation to use. You face looks so natural!
