Why did you use egg whites inserts of the whole egg?
Hi Alisa!
Great question! When using a white cake mix, adding eggs will turn the batter yellow. It also leads to a lighter airier batter.
Do you know if anyone tried these with a gluten free cake mix? I have a vanilla mix but don't know how it would turn out.

Absolutely, I'll add you now. Thanks for your interest! 🙂
My cupcakes sank. Is there a reason? Did I do something wrong?
Hi Frankie!
I've experienced that before. Was everything in date? Be sure to also bake for the suggested amount of time before opening the oven which can also cause things to deflate.
