Indulgence meets innovation in these new Chick-fil-A items. It’s not often that Chick-fil-A releases new items, so I was super excited to see these.
In this post, we’re excited to introduce you to the tantalizing Honey Pepper Pimento Sandwich and the irresistibly sweet Caramel Crumble Milkshake.
Chick-fil-A has always been known for its exceptional taste and quality, but do these new additions live up to those standards?
Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich Review
Description: A regular Chick-fil-A fried chicken drizzled with honey. Then it is topped with pimento cheese and pickled jalapenos.
Cost: $6.75
Calories: 570
Overall Rating: 9/10 for the regular and 9.5/10 for the spicy
Flavor: The chicken breast was seasoned perfectly with that classic hint of dill. The honey was sweet, but not in an overpowering way. The jalapenos were picked, which tend to be milder. However, we found their heat level closer to that of fresh.
The sweet heat is an amazing flavor combination.
We also tried the sandwich with spicy chicken, which adds another pop of heat and flavor.
Texture: The chicken breast was juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. The cheese was super creamy and added richness.
Perfect For: Southern food fanatics and sweet heat lovers
Avoid If: You don’t like spicy food
Caramel Crumble Milkshake Review
Description: This is described as a caramel-flavored milkshake with blondie crumbles.
Cost: $5.15
Calories:690
Overall Rating:
Flavor: 8.5/10
Flavor: You get the sweet, almost buttery flavor of the caramel and butterscotch combined with vanilla blondie crumbles.
Texture: It had a thick, freshly whipped texture thanks to being made with their Ice Cream. Chick-fil-A has the best fast-food milkshakes, in my opinion. The blondies added a hint of crunch, but we wish there were more of them!
Perfect For: Caramel lovers and butterbeer fans
Avoid If: You prefer a lot of mix-ins in your ice cream
Pro Tip: Use a thick straw (think Boba), as the blondie pieces can get stuck.
This one is listed as a limited edition available seasonally, so we’re hopeful it will appear in future years.
