Creme Brulee, Pots De Creme, and Macaroons are tasty, but I'll take a good chocolate chip cookie over them any day of the week.

They were the first thing I ever learned to bake with my Grandmother, and they're still the dessert I crave the most.

I love baking cookies, but let's face it they're time consuming. Each pan takes 10-15 minutes, then the cookies have to sit, then the pan has to cool. It's amazing how long 3 pans of cookies can take to bake.

While I promise to be productive between batches, I usually just waste it on Pinterest! 🙂

I love that these Bars because they taste like chocolate chip cookies, but only require one pan. You'll be done in less than 35 minutes, promise!

I actually prefer bar cookies over traditional and chewy are the best chocolate chip cookies as far as I'm concerned.

Sometimes the best thing is to just go back to the basics. There's nothing like a good chocolate chip cookie! I agree that bar form is better than individual cookies since less work is required--although it is always fun to spend time on Pinterest ;).

  12. You are so right about cookies taking so much time. I have to really be in the right mood (aka a patient mood) for cookies since they take so much time. Most recipes also are HUGE and make so many, so that adds even more time. Great idea making bars, I love it!

  13. this recipe is definitely something that I would try out. Chocolate chip cookie pie is one of my fav desserts, so this is just like enjoying the bar form of it

If there's chocolate invovled then count me in! These do really look chewy and I love that in a cookie/cookie bar. 🙂
