1CupAll Purpose FlourMeasured Correctly: Spooned and Leveled
½CupWhite Sugar
½CupBrown SugarPacked
¼TeaspoonSalt
½TeaspoonGround Cinnamon
½CupButterCold
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Butter an 8x8 or 9x9 inch baking pan.
Peel and slice peaches. In a medium bowl toss peaches, brown sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, salt, and vanilla.
In a medium bowl, stir flour, white sugar, brown sugar, salt and cinnamon together.
Cut in butter using a pastry cutter or 2 forks until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Evenly sprinkle over peaches. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until filling is bubbling and the top is golden brown. Enjoy!
Notes
The easiest way to peel peaches is to score an x onto the bottom, boil for 30-60 seconds, and the place into an ice bath. It will slide right off!Cool uncovered before storing in the fridge.
