Notes
Ingredient Notes
Bacon
: To save time, I like to use microwave bacon. I like the brand Hormel Black Label.
Mayonnaise
: You could also use ranch or Caesar dressing for a creamy spread. I find the sandwich to be a bit dry without a spread.
Bread
: Thinner bread works better for this layered sandwich.
Turkey Lunch Meat
: I like Dietz and Watson. Boar's Head is also good.
Avocado
: Look for avocados that are dark in color, and give a little when squeezed.
Krystle's Tips
Season
: Season your tomato and avocado with salt and pepper for even more flavor.
Toast Your Bread
: Don't skip toasting your bread; it provides a great crunch.
Use a Serrated Knife:
This will easily slice through the bread without mangling it for picture-perfect triangles.
Use toothpicks to hold the sandwich together if needed.
