Ingredient Notes and Shopping Tips
Pink Lemonade
: I used Simply Lemonade with raspberry. You could also use
homemade
or powdered mix (with the water called for in the directions).
Watermelon Vodka:
I used Smirnoff. Circo also makes a good one, but it's limited edition and tends to come and go.
Triple Sec:
I used Dekuyper. Look for it near the Cordials or Schnapps in the liquor store.
Malibu Rum
: You can use any white rum you like.
Tips
Make Ahead
: Make up to 12 hours ahead of time so you don't have to play bartender at your party. Store in the fridge until ready to serve.
Ice Trick
: Make ice cubes out of pink lemonade to avoid watering down your drink.
Bonus
: They'll look pretty too.
Garnish
: Garnish with fresh fruit like watermelon, strawberries, or a lemon wedge.
