My chicken tater tot casserole is cheesy, creamy, and topped with crunchy bacon & crispy tots. This easy casserole is the ultimate comfort food for busy weeknights.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray 9x13 inch pan with non stick cooking spray. Set aside.
In a large bowl, combine cooked chicken, sour cream,cream of chicken soup, dry ranch dressing mix, bacon and shredded cheese. Fold in tater tots. Evenly spread into prepared pan.
Bake for 40-45 minutes.

Ingredient Notes
Bacon- I prefer Hormel’s microwave bacon. It’s quick, mess-free, and perfectly crispy.
Chicken- Rotisserie chicken is a quick and flavorful option. Also feel free to use leftover grilled chicken or even canned chicken.
Shredded Cheese- For the best melty texture, grate your own cheese. Pre-shredded varieties also have anti caking agents which can be grainy when melted.
Tater Tots- I like mini tater tots as they cook faster and get extra crispy.
