Easy Blue Lagoon Cocktail

The Blue Lagoon is half sweet, half sour and 100% refreshing. EASY with only 3 ingredients, and no blender/shaker required.

Ingredients

  • 1 Ounce Vodka
  • 1 Ounce Blue Curacao
  • 8 Ounces Lemonade
  • Maraschino Cherries If Desired

Instructions

  • Fill a glass with ice. Pour in vodka and blue curacao.
  • Fill with lemonade.
  • Garnish with a cherry if desired.

Notes

Ingredients Notes:
    1. Vodka: Use a mid-level vodka that you like to drink. I like the brands Pinnacle or Tito's.
    2. I like the brand Drillaud. It is found in the cordial section of the liquor store.  
    3. Lemonade: Feel free to use homemade or store-bought. For store-bought, I like Simply Lemonade the best.
Tips
  1. Up Your Ice Cube Game: Prevent a watered-down drink by using lemonade ice cubes instead. You can also make clear ice cubes by using distilled or boiled water.
  2. Chill your glasses to keep your cocktails ice cold.
  3. Adjust to Your Tastes: If your cocktail is too sour add a splash of simple syrup. If it is too sweet ad a bit more lemonade.
  4. Measurements: Easily measure your liquors use a shot glass. 1.5 Ounces=one shot. You can also use a spoon. 1 Ounce equals 2 tablespoons.
