Copycat Taco Bell Nacho Fries With Nacho Cheese

For the Cheese Sauce

Instructions
For the Seasoning
In a spice grinder, combine all seasoning ingredients. Or mix well in a bowl if you don't have one. Pour into empty salt shaker or spice container.
For the Fries
Fill a tall heavy bottomed pot with vegetable oil (around 4-5 inches). Heat to 350 degrees.
Fry for 6 to 8 minutes or until crispy. Place on a wire rack on top of a baking sheet.
Immediately sprinkle with the seasoning mix.
For the Cheese Sauce
In a medium sauce pan over medium low heat, combine all ingredients. Heat for 5-7 minutes or until smooth.
Notes
Tips
Use a deep fry thermometer. If the oil is too cold the fries will be soggy and greasy.
Fry in batches and allow the oil to come up to temp. between batches.
Keep warm in a 200 degree oven if needed.
Be sure to add the seasoning right away to help it stick.
Don't drain on paper towels or they'll get soggy on the bottom.
