Blend all ingredients for the first layer. Pour into glass. Rinse out blender.
Repeat with remaining layers. Garnish with a cherry if desired.

Ingredient Notes and Shopping Tips
Rum: I prefer to use white rum which is light and slightly sweet. Bacardi is my go to brand. Avoid dark rum which can be too spicy and overpowering for a fruity cocktail.
Grenadine: Grenadine is a non alcoholic cocktail syrup. Originally made with pomegranates it has a tart and sweet flavor. Despite its red coloring it does not have a cherry flavor.
Midori: Midori (Japanese for green) is a bright green liquerur.
Flavor: It is fruity and sweet with notes of honeydew.
Location: Look for it in near the cordials or schanpps.
