Easy Apple Dumpling Recipe: Flaky dumplings chockfull of apples and topped with a sinful brown sugar butter sauce. The easiest and tastiest breakfast for chilly Fall mornings!


  • 2 Cans Crescent Rolls
  • 1 Cup Butter
  • 1 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar, Packed
  • 2 Teaspoons Vanilla
  • 2 Teaspoons Cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 Cups Regular Mountain Dew
  • 2 Apples


  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Butter a 13x9 inch baking pan.
  • Peel and core apples. Cut each apple into 8 wedges.
  • Roll each apple piece inside a crescent roll. Place in prepared pan.
  • In a medium sauce pan melt butter. Then stir in sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon. Cook on low until thickened.
  • Pour over dumplings. Pour the soda into the middle and sides of the pan.
  • Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until golden brown.
