Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Pink Blink Review + Swatches
Patience is a virtue that I just don’t have. As a result I hate things like standing in line, waiting for cookies to bake, and waiting for nails to dry! What’s a girl to do when she can’t move her hands for 30 minutes?
That’s why I was excited to hear about Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Fast Dry Nail Color!
Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Pink Blink Review/Swatches
Pretty in Pink
Product:3/5
Sally Says:Covers in just one coat, brilliantly. The Perfectionist Brush™ contours to any nail, so color always glides on precisely, quickly, flawlessly. And, the exclusive Flexiglass Complex combines beautiful, brilliant shine and super-strong wear. So simple, so Sally.
Baking Beauty Says: The polish had great coverage, but didn’t dry instantly as the name implies. After applying the polish it dries in about 60 seconds. However, just because it’s dry to the touch doesn’t mean it’s really dry. It’ll still get impressions/dings if you bump them on something for the next 20/30 minutes.
Pigmentation: 5/5
Coverage was mostly opaque in one coat. This is no small feat for a light pink color.I used 2 just to fill in any bits of nail that may be peeking through.
Texture:5/5
It didn’t run or goop up on me, no problems here.
Application:4/5
The brush is the perfect size and that makes application a breeze.
Lasting Power:3/5
This polish wore for around 3-4 days on me without a top coat. This is average for nail polishes on my nails.
Best for: Those who want an easy at home manicure.
Avoid it if: You’re expecting it to have the wear, or setting power of a gel nail.

I’ll be honest, that doesn’t sound or look like a winner to me. 20-30 Minutes to cure is a long time for a mom of five! I don’ know that I would be able to wait that long to be sure I have a great polish. Additionally, it looked a little thick for me in the picture.
Thank you for your honest review. It is greatly appreciated to readers like me in making accurate decisions on what beauty products are worth my investment.
Warm Regards,

Loving the color but not sure this would be the polish for a busy mom. Maybe with a nail dryer?
Thanks for the tip! If I’m going to do my nails at home, I definitely need them to dry fast.
It’s disappointing that it doesn’t set as quickly as it claims, I am one to ALWAYS get dents and dings in my polish due to impatience as it dries 🙂 I am always willing to try new polishes as they come out though, hoping for the “magic” one 🙂
Wow, good to know! I love Sally Hansen but have never tried the insta dri ones! Good to know not to expect what it says on the jar!
I love this color! I have always liked Sally Henson’s products, although they only last a few days on my nails as well!
I hate waiting for nails to dry, especially when I get my nails done out and I can’t leave forever.
This would be great for my daughter, who is way too impatient to sit and let her polish dry!
I can’t wait to try this. I am horribly about chipping my nails as soon as I paint them. Sitting around for 30 minutes just doesn’t happen.
I love quick drying nail polishes like this, I’m so impatient while waiting for regular polish to dry.
Great review! I love how honest it was! That pink colour is gorgeous!
Oh cool! I like quick! That is a really pretty color too! I am going to need to try that!
I hate when I think my nails are dry, and then they get all marred up! 20-30 minutes isn’t terribly bad, though.
I love light colors and of course Sally Hansen has always had great products. I will have to check this out just for the quick dry time.
I have this polish in a different color. It went on a little thick but dried fast for me.
great shade of pink!
Love the review. Always great to know what a polish can and cannot do.
That doesn’t sound very quick drying actually. While the color is pretty, I need something that won’t rub off our leave impressions in under 2-3 minutes not 20-30. I can’t sit still for that long! 🙂
I really hate having to wait on my nails to dry and I usually end up messing one(or more)up because I am so busy!
