At our house we take Christmas decorations seriously! Our living room entertainment center is filled with Snowbabies, our kitchen has a tree containing nothing but dessert ornaments, and even our bathroom has window clings on the mirror.

Because of our decorating Obsession hobby, friends and family often stop by unexpectedly to see what we’re created this year.

My first thought when unexpected guests drop in is usually.

OH-MY-GOD do I have their present wrapped?

-fake smile-Oh, hello welcome to my humble abode. Can I get you a beverage? -Frantically runs into my room to throw present in a big bag with tissue paper-

My second thought is usually, what am I going to feed them?!

Family and friends know I love to cook, but during the holidays I don’t always have the time. After a long day of shopping and baking the last thing I want to do is turn on the oven for supper.

I always make sure to stock my freezer when shopping for groceries at Walmart.

Speaking of unexpected guests, look who I found in my freezer when I arrived home to put my groceries away:Mr. Dwayne our elf on a shelf.

Here are some of my favorite quick and easy meals for unexpected holiday guests:

1. Salad with chopped veggies and shredded cheese
2.Chips and Dip
3. Cheese and Crackers

Main Course:
1. Stouffers Party Size Lasagna: Cheesy, meaty goodness that makes it smell like you’ve been simmering sauce all day.

2.Stouffers Party Size Mac and Cheese: Creamy, cheesy, favorite. I like to top mine with breadcrumbs tossed in butter for a crunchy twist.

3.Digorno Rising Crust Pepperoni Pizza-Who doesn’t love pizza? I love how airy the crust is on this version.

1. Fruit Salad with Marshmallows and Sour Cream

2.Christmas Cookies:If you have some sitting in the freezer that you’ve made ahead of time first pat yourself on the back. Then allow them to thaw on the counter while guests enjoy dinner.

3. Edy’s Very Vanilla Ice Cream Bar. I chose to serve mine with a variety of toppings including sprinkles, chopped candy canes,Nestle Mini Chocolate Chips, Butterfinger Bites, and Crunch a Bunch.

Edy’s also has 2 Limited Edition(Eggnog and Peppermint). flavors out that would be great on their own or with additional toppings.
