Own the Mantel

Save For Later

I participated in an Ambassador Program on behalf of Mom Central Consulting (#MC) for Cardstore. I received complimentary cards and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.

Last week I showed you the adorable baking themed card  I picked out for my Grandma at Cardstore.

Baking sugar cookies is probably my earlier cooking/food related memory. We would always gather at my Grandma’s house a few days before Christmas. She would always have the dough mixed and chilling when we arrived. (This step was super boring to 5 year old me!).  My grandma and I would then cut them out. However, my favorite part was decorating them while eating 1/2 the icing!

I’m not sure my decorating skills have improved in the last 15 years, but it is a holiday tradition I very much look forward to each year!

Because of our baking traditions I was extra excited to give Grandma my special custom made card.

When I gave it to her, her first reaction was “Already?”. She was surprised I had my cards done already because she hadn’t even started hers. I procrastinate on everything, but it was such a weight off my chest to get my cards done early and easily. This way I can enjoy the things I really love like baking and shopping!

Her second reaction was awe! She is not very computer savvy and quickly pointed out “It has my name on it”!

Cardstore can help you impress your family and friends this holiday season to by owning the mantle.Ever peruse someone else’s Christmas cards while milling around at their holiday party or it just nosy old me??

Show off and make everyone wonder where you got that gorgeous unique card! Always think that your sibling is the favorite? Maybe this can help you gain an edge and finally be better than them at something. Cardstore just cannot compare to last minute cards from the local discount shop!
