What Laura Mercier Says: A highly-pigmented eye shadow with a creamy texture that applies effortlessly with multi-dimensional matte finish. Long-wearing formula provides rich colour payoff without dusting.

What Baking Beauty Says: Dark Spirit has an amazing texture and wear time, however I was a bit confused by the glitter when its supposed to be a satin matte!

Dark Spirit is a rich black with shimmer.

Swatched dry it almost comes off as dark grey. However, swatched wet it is one of the deepest black shadows I can think of. It has the rich dark color of a jet black liner that can be hard to find in a shadow.

Texture:5/5

Even though it’s a powder, this shadow almost feels creamy. Also, unlike most matte shadows it is easy to blend.

Ease of Use:4/5

Lasting Power:5/5

This wore around 10 hours on me with a primer (I use Tarte’s).
