Laura Mercier Free Spirit Palette Review

As I sit here in my fuzzy slippers sipping hot cocoa, it’s hard to wrap my head around the fact that Spring Collections will be hitting counters this month.

The first Spring review I have for you in the gorgeous Laura Mercier Free Spirit Palette.

I love the variety of colors, but the formula was slightly disappointing.

Laura Mercier Free Spirit Palette Review

Product Claims:7/10
Laura Mercier Says:Laura Mercier Free Spirit Baked Eye Colour Palette perfectly pairs five baked eye colours into one convenient compact and includes a double-ended Eye Colour/Crème Eye Detail Brush for flawless application. Create endless looks using each shade dry for a more natural look or wet to add intensity and drama to the eyes.

When swatched dry, the blue and brown shades leave a lot to be desired. They are sheer and patchy.
When those same shades are swatched wet, they take on a richer look.

I found this palette to be dryer and stiffer than the other Baked eye palettes I own. This made it hard to get an even application, and even harder to blend out.

Ease of Use:6/10

I really like the tan packaging for a spring collection.

Overall, I really love the colors included in this palette. They are feminine and elegant just as a Spring collection should be. However, I was disappointed that the wet/dry palette  had to be used wet.
