1. Blondies (Brownies sans chocolate)
2. Cheesecake
3. Caramel
It is not an easy 10 minute dessert, but it is SO SO worth it. Plus what else have you got to do when you’re cooped up inside?
If you are short on time or just not into making things from scratch you can always use short cuts. (i.e. Store bought Graham Cracker Crust to replace the blondies, caramel ice cream topping, or frozen baked apples.

I made the caramel sauce but I ended up with a little less than 3/4 cup. Mine was thicker but tasted amazing.
Just made this last night to surprise my boyfriend with something new, came out amazing! We both loved it! Thanks for the recipe! Also I’m pretty new at baking and don’t have any springforms yet so I kinda winged it and made an extension to my pan with cardboard and foil but it worked fine! Came out tasting and looking awesome! This is a solid homemade recipe and I’ll be using it for years and years to come thank you 😊
Yayyy Hayley, I’m so glad you all liked it. Love your hack with cardboard and foil too. <3 Happy Fall!!
Did you peel the apples?
Yes I did Cesya!
This looks amazing! Will be making it for Canadian Thanksgiving this weekend! What kind of apples do you recommend?
Happy Thanksgiving Dani! I used Granny Smith
This looks so good!! I was wondering what kind of apples you prefer in this dish?
I use Granny Smith. Everything is so sweet so I like a bit of tart
Is this salted or unsalted butter?
Unsalted! 🙂 thanks for stopping by I apologize for the tardy reply!
You really should tell people to use a 9 inch springform pan instead of a 9 inch cake pan. My baked blondie crust left no room for the cheesecake portion.
I had to tear the blondie crust apart and press it into a springform pan in order to fit the cheesecake.
Thanks for sharing Crista.
Use a springform pan if you have one (personally I don’t!!). I should probably get on that
I haven’t made it yet just have a few questions what spices are in apple pie spice and since this is cheese cake do you cook it in a hot bath.? Please let me know as I want to make this for Christmas dessert
Thank you
PattiB
