Hard Candy Poppin Pigments in Violets and Roses Review

Hard Candy says:Make a statement with Poppin Pigments loose eye shadows. Formulated with extremely fine yet dense textured pearls that provide shimmering, silky color. Available in expertly paired duos for the ultimate dare-to-wear eye look.

Baking Beauty says: These pigments are gorgeous and glittery, but the packaging makes them very hard to use.

Effectiveness:3/5

Pigmentation:3/5

The colors included in this duo are a pinky champagne (great pigmentation) and a medium purple with blue glitter (so so pigmentation).

Texture:4/5

These are silky and smooth.

Ease of use:1/5

The packaging makes it hard to get product (especially a small amount out). The pigments also didn’t stick well even when used with an eye shadow base.

Lasting Power:2/5

These only lasted 1-2 hours on my eyes. Just blinking seemed to make it come off. I also ended up with glittery fall out all over my eye area.

Packaging:1/5

The very small sifter means you literally have to shake it out. Whether you do this on your hand or a mixing palette still it is still way too easy to get it everywhere.

Value:2/5

Cost:$6.00

Available: Exclusively at Walmart

Overall, Hard Candy does some products very well(like Lip Lacqer). However, I didn’t think this was one of them.

Have you tried Hard Candy? Do you love or hate pigments?
