Bang Bang Shrimp: Ultra crispy shrimp tossed in the most addicting sauce. Only 20 minutes stand between you and this super easy appetizer.
  • For the Sauce
  • ½ Cup Mayonnaise
  • ¼ Cup Sweet Chili Sauce
  • ½ Teaspoon Sriracha
  • For the Shrimp
  • 1 Pound Shrimp, Peeled and Deveined
  • ½ Cup Buttermilk
  • ¾ Cup Cornstarch
  • Vegetable Oil For Frying
  • Chives, If Desired For Garnish
  1. For the Sauce
  2. In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and Sriracha.
  3. For the Shrimp
  4. In a large Dutch Oven, heat about 2 inches of oil to 375 degrees.
  5. In a large bowl, combine shrimp and buttermilk. Place corn starch into a Ziploc baggie. Add shrimp to baggie being sure to shake off any extra buttermilk.
  6. Shake until well coated.
  7. Fry a few at a time for 1-2 minutes per side. Do not overcrowd the pan.
  8. Drain on paper towels. Coat or drizzle with prepared sauce.
  9. Garnish with chives if desired.
