Easter Traditions + Hershey’s Giveaway
Disclaimer: This post is sponsored by Hershey’s. All opinions are my own.
Compared to Christmas, Easter is the 2nd biggest holiday in our household. Here are some things we have done in years past and others we keep doing every year.
1. Easter Egg Hunt
My town always had a big Easter egg hunt in a slightly wooded area behind a local nursing home. I was painfully shy and didn’t want to race anyone to ge eggs. One year, I went “deep” into the woods so there would be no competition (there were also no eggs!). I think that is the closest I’ve ever came to being lost.
2. Hot Cross Buns
We love baking these slightly sweet/spicy buns with a cross on top.
3. CHOCOLATE! I’m 22 and I still get an Easter basket. Is that weird? I hope not because I love the free chocolate! Some of my favorites are Hershey’s Peanut Butter Eggs, Cadbury Cream Eggs, and plain Hershey’s Bunnies.
4. Easter Nest
When I was younger and the Easter bunny visited, I’d always make a grass/hay nest. He’d drop a couple little presents outside. I’m not sure why but this was super fun for me. There are home movies of me out there before it was daylight!
5. Easter Dinner: We generally have ham, cheesy potato casserole, and rolls. Simple but yummy!
Hershey’s has been kind enough to giveaway a candy prize pack to one lucky winner. Please enter below. Good luck!
