I struggled over whether or not to post this Cinnamon Bear Cookie recipe. I cook and bake a lot more than you see on this blog. However,I only post the things that I think taste really good, look really nice, and photography perfectly. #1 is generally not a problem. However, I’m not not good at presentation!
These are a little rustic and imperfect, but I’m trying to be less of a perfectionist, so here they are!
I’d like to tell you my kids made these cinnamon bears, but my now you know I don’t have any!! 🙂
Regardless these sweet cinnamon bear cookis will look adorable on a cookie tray. Best enjoyed with a homemade cinnamon coffee yum!

What do you think of these Cinnamon Bear Cookies?
Something is missing from directions for Cinnamon Bear cookies. How do you divide dough for head and then ears and nose. You dont say how much
Hi Peggy,
I don’t divide the dough I pull it all from the same dough. (Large ball for the bear, smaller for the nose, and even smaller for the ears).
Krystle, these are perfect just the way they are! I can’t wait to make them for my granddaughter!
Awww thanks so much Lea! <3

Do you think I could substitute the margarine with oil?

I wouldn’t it might make the cookies too dense. Maybe try Crisco though?

Hi Krystle – I absolutely love these and think they look amazing! Visiting from Love Bakes Good Cakes. Thank you so much for sharing and pinning! Hope you have a happy Friday and weekend.
These are adorable. Let me just say I’m a teddy bear fanatic. Growing up I always requested a teddy bear cake for my birthday (single layer round pan for head, square for body and cupcake ears, hands, and feet). I’ve never seen bear cookies and I love them.
