What do you think of this Cherry Cupcake with Cherry Coke Frosting?

I cannot use powdered sugar in my recipes but really want to make a good buttercream. What can I substitute for the powdered sugar that would still work in making a tasty buttercream?
Hi Lisa,
I've never tried making buttercream with anything other than powdered sugar. You might want to look into a different type of frosting such as ganache or even swiss meringue buttercream.
I'm actually planning on using this recipe for a school club fundraiser this weekend and I'm super excited. I don't think I've ever seen such a creative way to make cupcakes especially since most of the batter is from a box.
Those look almost too good to eat.
Amazing colors!
Thank you!
I want a big bite out of one of the cupcakes! The flavor combination sounds delicious!
Go right ahead Katy! 😀
