After Valentine’s Day, comes St. Patrick’s Day. After St. Patty’s Day comes College Basketball Season!! I love all these excuses to throw a party and make some tasty treats.

To me basketball Season  means tasty, portable foods you can eat while watching television.

Here are some of my favorites:

1. Potato Skins: Bake potatoes in the oven. Scope out insides, brush with oil and return to oven. Then top with cheese, bacon, sour cream ect. The perfect flavorful bite.

Green Onions, salsa,  or pepperoni would be awesome too. The possibilities are endless so use whatever ingredients your family likes best.

2. Pizza: Pizza joints can be so busy on game day so I like to go with a frozen option.

I don’t mind making homemade pizza. However, on game day I want to be parked in front of the TV not checking every 5 minutes to see if my dough is rising.

The new Digiornio Stuffed Crust Pizzas are my favorites. They are full of flavor and the crust rises and is filled with cheese. Yum!

Sausage, Onion, and Peppers: features tangy red sauce, slightly spicy sausage, and flavorful peppers.

Buffalo Chicken: Has ranch sauce and tender grilled chicken topped with a spicy buffalo sauce.

To make them look even more festive I added black olives in the shape of a basketball!

3. Basketball Cupcakes

I used funfetti orange cake mix(I bought this at Walmart  made buttercream, and black gel icing to get this basketball look.

A giant basketball cake or mini cake pops would also be amazing!

What do you like to eat while watching the basketball games?
