With this summer’s heat wave, who doesn’t have to battle frizzy hair?

For me, frizz is a problem all year round. My hair is wavy, curly, and generally hard to manage. For this reason, I was especially drawn to a Shampoo called “Super Smooth”.

Super Smooth Shampoo + Conditioner Review

Pureology has long been a staple in our household. It is my Mom’s all-time favorite shampoo because it makes her color last longer.

What I loved:

1. Even though I do not dye my hair, I feel like this shampoo brings out the natural highlights and color nuances of my hair.

2. Both the shampoo and conditioner (8.5 oz. $27 each) are thick and luxurious.

3. After using it my hair felt smooth, and looked healthy and shiny. The conditioner also helped work out any tangles I may have had.

4. They also have a light fruity scent.

5. They’re Vegan: As a vegetarian and animal lover, this is very near and dear to my heart.

Super Relaxing Hair Masque Review

I’ve used many face masks, bu I’ve never used a hair masque before! I was a little intimidated. If you are too, don’t be!!

You rub it into your hair , and let is sit like a mask before washing it off. It is essentially a super thick,creamy conditioner ($50 for 5.1 oz).

The directions didn’t say whether to use it on wet or dry hair. I chose to use it on wet hair as it was easier to wash out when I was already in the shower.It worked fine this way.

After using the mask, my hair was much calmer. I always get frizzies near the part in my scalp. This really helped me look more polished.

The only negative thing I can think of about these products is their price. However, you only need to use around a quarter size amount (seriously that little bit works on my unruly mane!), so they are going to last you a long time.

Also, you may find yourself spending less on dye jobs at the salon.
