Ouidad Joy to the Curl Set Review

Disclaimer: The Ouidad Joy to the Curl Set used in this review was sent to me for consideration. All opinions are my own.

With all the makeup/nail sets out around the holidays, it can easy to forget about hair! However, there are tons of high value sets out for hair as well. I just picked up a Garnier one at Walmart, and I’ve also been eyeing up the ones by salon brand Ouidad.

They have 5 limited edition sets that are high quality and high value, but still low in price.

Let’s take a  look at the Ouidad Joy to the Curl Set.

It includes:
Moisture Lock Define & Shine Gel Cream and Moisture Lock Leave-in Conditioner.

Moisture Lock Define & Shine Gel Cream Review:Is a light weight styling gel. A little goes a long way. It helps define and hold curls all day. There is no stickiness/crunchiness whatsoever, and it has a light citrus scent. The only thing I didn’t like is that it made my hair dry by the end of the day. I tend to have dry/coarse hair. If you don’t this may be a non issue.

Moisture Lock Leave-in Conditioner Review:Is a very moisturizing leave in conditioner. Again a little goes a long way here. It made my hair feel soft and smooth, and also helped work out the tangles. However I disliked its baby powdery scent.

Overall, the set is great value. It only costs $30 but is worth over $46 dollars. It’s a great way to try out Ouidad for yourself or  as an affordable gift option for curly friends/older children.

Have you tried Ouidad? What hair styling products do you use daily?
