This is the second half of my review of these new Maybelline stain glosses.
From Left To Right:
Cool Coral, Pleasing Plum, Mauve Dream, Blissful Brown

1. Shade 150: “Cool Coral” is a bright medium pink with hints of orange.
2. Shade 170: “Pleasing Plum” is a light purple. I’m not a big fan of purple lip glosses, but I really liked the way this one looked.
3. Shade 180: “Mauve Dream” is a deep reddish purple color.
4. Shade 190: ” Blissful Brown” is a rich dark brown. This is probably the only shade that I will not reach for again. I just found it too dark. However, it may look great on someone with a darker skin tone.

As a non makeup wearer, I must ask, what is the difference between a lipstick and a stain gloss?

Lipsticks tend to be more opaque (not see thru) and creamy.
A gloss is sheerer and shiny.
The stain gloss is a mix of the 2 it provides full coverage color, but with a shiny finish!
Does the stain gloss stain your lips? Or is it simply a more opaque gloss?
Hi Greta! It definitely stains, even after eating/drinking there was still a stain on my lips. The only thing glossy about it is a slightly shiny finish.
Also it stained my arm for swatches something terrible. Makeup remover soap, and olive oil later I still had faint lines LOL!

I’m a gloss girl myself. Although, I prefer light shades. I always feel funny wearing bright/dark shades…

I love these colors. I wish I wasn’t so light-complected. The darker colors don’t go over so well on me.
