What does your house smell like to company? Mine is probably a mix of wet dog and last night’s supper. Not very pleasant right? It is amazing how a candle can transform the whole feel of your home.
My favorite scents are usually Bakery related. I love having the house smell like I just finished making something yummy.
My new favorite Holiday Candle is Goose Creek’s Spice Cake
Spice Cake is described as the”home baked goodness of a delicious spice cake with warm kitchen spices, baked apples, pecans, brown and vanilla sugar, and a touch of chocolate caramel”.
To me it smells spicy and sweet. It reminds me a bit of gingerbread. As it burns the other apple and brown sugar become more noticeable. It fills the whole house with a delicious scent.
However, I wish mine had a label. I’m not sure if this is a result of mine being a sample. I have a large candle collection, and I like to be able to easily pull one out for the day.
If you’re not a fan of sweet scents, they have plenty of other options.
