If I could only have one makeup item for the rest of my life it would be mascara. It is an instant confidence booster for me.
You may think they’re all the same, but every once I awhile I find one that is unique.
Currently I’m loving the Essence Blackest-Black Multi Action Mascara (3.99).
Essence Says: Mascara for extremely black lashes- with carbon black. Also, gives extra volume, length, and curl.
Baking Beauty Says:
This mascara is true to its word. I love how it gives my lashes volume and length without being gritty or flaking.
Pigmentation: 9/10
It was black, but from its name I guess I was expecting something a little out of the ordinary.
Texture: 10/10
Lasting Power: 10/10
Ease of Use :10/10
Packaging: 9/10
Overall:A+
Overall, this is a fabulous mascara, that is cheap even by drug store standards!

wow, this is a great mascara! It gives so much volume
I’ve never tried Essence products, but your review of their mascara and that photo of it on your gorgeous eye (what a stunning eye colour!) is really making me want to try them out. I have pretty much non-existant eyelashes – transparent and kind of short & sparse – so this sounds like a great mascara to try. Love that its affordable too. I’ve never tried Essence before and I just checked my area and it seems Ulta sells it but it’s 45 minutes away from me….If I’m out that way maybe I’ll swing by….It say’s it’s only $3.49….Now that’s a bargain.
