Peanut Butter Oreo Truffles

Peanut Butter Oreo Truffles: Creamy peanut butter and crunchy oreos coated in rich chocolate. Super easy and no bake!

Peanut Butter Oreo Truffles

Whoa there, what are you doing?

Oreo Buckeyes

You can’t just alter the buckeye recipe. I seriously thought this recipe was going to give Mom a coronary. :)

You don’t have to replace your classic Christmas candy recipe, but I think you’ll want to try these Peanut Butter Oreo Truffles  at least once. They have a rich oreo center, that is covered in creamy peanut butter. Then they are dipped into rich milk chocolate.

I like using semi sweet chips because the filling in these Peanut Butter Oreo Truffles is already very sweet. However, milk chocolate or dark chocolate would also work just fine.

Peanut Butter Oreo Truffles Creamy peanut butter and crunchy oreos coated in rich chocolate. Super easy and no bake!
Ingredients
  • 20 Double Stuf Oreos
  • ½ Cup Cream Cheese, Softened
  • 1 Cup Creamy Peanut Butter
  • ¼ Cup Butter, Softened
  • 2 Cups Powdered Sugar
  • 1½ Cups Semi Sweet Milk Chocolate Chips
Instructions
  1. Line a cookie sheet with wax paper. (Parchment paper would also work fine.)
  2. Place oreos in a large plastic bag. Finely crush using a rolling pin. (You could also use a food processor if you have one, I don't).
  3. Cream, cream cheese until smooth. Stir in oreo crumbs until combined.
  4. Use greased hands to roll the oreo cream cheese mixture into ~24 balls. Place on prepared tray, and refrigerate.
  5. In a large bowl, combine peanut butter ,butterand powdered sugar until smooth.
  6. Wrap peanut butter around each oreo ball. Then roll into a ball. Do not dip oreos into the peanut butter or you'll end up with crumbs in your peanut butter.
  7. Refrigerate for 20-30 minutes.
  8. In a medium microwave safe bowl, melt chocolate until smooth, stirring frequently. Mine took 1 minute 30 seconds.
  9. Insert a toothpick into the peanut butter oreo ball. Dip into chocolate until completely coated.
  10. Refrigerate for 20-30 minutes or until set. Store in the refrigerator.

Peanut Butter Oreo Truffles Shopping Tip:

  1. I used Double Stuf oreos, just because they’re the ones I enjoy eating the most. However, if you want to be super decadent try the peanut butte or mega stuf variety!

One of my favorite candy bars is a Kit Kat. That commercial where they’re all breaking off a piece has me craving some every single time. Crunchy wafers + no nuts + chocolate=nomnomom

If you like Kit Kat Chocolate Bars you’ll love my copycat recipe.

It has 2 easy to find ingredients. It also doesn’t need any special equipment.

All you really need is your microwave, a cookie sheet, and a fork!

Peppermint Chocolate Covered Marshmallows

Peppermint Chocolate Covered Marshmallows: Festive and easy Peppermint Chocolate Covered Marshmallows. Makes ordinary hot chocolate taste extraordinary!Peppermint Chocolate Covered Marshmallows

Does anyone else do this?

Please tell me it’s not just me!

Every year we buy 12, 24, 48 candy canes to hang on our Christmas tree. However, what the heck should we do with them when Christmas is over?

I love peppermint as much as the next guy, but I’m not one to just sit there and munch a candy cane.

These Peppermint and Chocolate Covered Marshmallows are great for using up mini and large candy canes (or both!).

No special equipment is needed for this recipe. I crushed my candy canes using a rolling pin and a plastic baggie.

Easy Peppermint Chocolate Covered Marshmallows

These peppermint and chocolate covered marshmallows taste amazing in hot chocolate or a nice cup of coffee. They’d also be super cute for holiday hot chocolate bars or buffets.

Three Musketeers Bars

Do you remember those days of coming home from trick or treating and dumping your haul on the floor?

My candy was divided into 3 piles.

1. Chocolate: WANT MINE NOM

2. Gummy/Sweet candy like Nerds or Laffy Taffy: Don’t like, Mom you can take to work byeee!

3. Nuts/Chocolate with nuts: Ewwwww, you can have it Mom!

I’m weird because I love nuts as a snack or in trail mix. But in my candy or cookies, nope no thank you!

One of my favorite candy bars that always went in the “Keep” pile was the Three Musketeers Bar! So creamy and chocolately! What is in that magical filling? I will show you the 2 simple ingredients.

These are a breeze to make and only require 2 ingredients! They’ll be ready before you can say trick or treat! You’ll want to hoard these all to yourself, but they do make enough to share! :)
