Peanut Blossom Bars

Whoa there…

Peanut Blossom Bars

Oh no you didn’t. You can’t alter my favorite Christmas cookie. That recipe is more sacred than our manger scene.  Is that what you’re thinking?

Peanut Blossom Bars

But seriously guys hear me out! These cookies taste JUST like peanut blossoms. They have a chewy peanut butter cookie base, and plenty of Hersey kisses. But, the best part is that you don’t have to roll a million dough balls, and make 5 different pans of cookies.

Dump, bake, one and done! Who couldn’t use a little extra time during the Christmas season?

Blueberry Crumb Bars

Nature Valley has just rolled out their Toasted Oat Museli. It’s a delicious blend of oats, fruit, and seeds. It’s great on it’s own for breakfast. Soaking it is super popular and it’s a great granola substitute as well!  However, I think it’s even better in recipes!

It’s available in 2 flavors: Nature Valley Toasted Oats Muesli-Blueberry and Nature Valley Toasted Oats Muesli-Original.

Blueberry contains: Whole Grain Oats, Sunflower Seeds, Dried Blueberries, Pumpkin Seeds, Raisins, Almond Pieces, Dried Cranberries

Original contains: Original Flavor: Whole Grain oats, Sunflower Seeds, Dried Cranberries, Raisins, Toasted Coconut, Almond Pieces, Pumpkin Seeds

We love enjoying sweets over coffee on weekends, so of course I had to go for a sweet treat. I choose to make Blueberry Crumb Bars. SO good! The oats add some health benefits and amazing texture. For my recipe I chose to use the blueberry variety.

These blueberry crumb bars are full of juicy blueberries and are topped with a super crunchy crumb topping of toasted oats, dried blueberries, and sunflower seeds.  You can use fresh or frozen berries: whatever you have on hand!

Santa Hat Peppermint Cheesecake Bars

Peppermint Cheesecake Bars

I go through vanilla extract like no one’s business. However, I hardly ever reach for my Peppermint Extract.

I use it every year in my Mint Chocolate Chip Cookies. However, it tends to languish on the shelf until I buy a new bottle the next year.

These Peppermint Cheesecake Bars a great way to use up peppermint extract. However, they’re also very customizable.

Seeing this Peppermint Cheesecake Bars recipe after Christmas? Feel free to substitute vanilla extract and top with strawberries for a yummy Valentines Day treat.
