I’m not usually one to say you NEED a product. After all makeup is a personal preference. Some people like red lipsticks while some people prefer just clear gloss. But regardless of your style or budget you need a makeup miser! A makeup what?

A makeup miser is a small spatula like device that lets you get the last bits of makeup/skincare out the jar.

3 Reasons You Need A Makeup Miser

1. To Save Money: When I get down to the end of my foundation or moisturizer I throw it away when nothing else comes out. I’ve literally been throwing money in the trash. I got a full weeks worth out of my Clinique Stay Matte Hydrator with the makeup miser.

2. To Keep Your Hands Clean: I adore creme eyeshadows. However I hate dirtying a brush to use them. Therefore I usually use my finger. This results in product under my nails EW. There is a reason I don’t garden I cannot stand that feeling. Now, I just scoop out a bit, and put it on the pad of my finger. No waste, no ick!

3. To Make Life Easier: I use Clinique’s Take the Day off makeup remover most days. When I have a fresh bottle I just dip a Q tip into that sucker and wipe away. However, eventually when the level goes down it doesn’t reach. Now I can reach even farther in by adding a cotton ball to the end of my spatula.

Makeup Miser is available at:Makeup Miser.com

Cost: $14.95

  2. i have a similar product and swear by it.

  3. That has got to be the smartest idea around! The question is what wouldn’t I use it for. I’ve thrown away so many products because I couldn’t get that last little bit out. It doesn’t seem like a lot at the time, but it adds up.

  4. Sounds like a great product and one that I as a makeup artist would get a lot of use out of. I may have to check it out. Thanks for the review.

  5. I saw this on Shark Tank but it was by a different company.

  6. Yes, yes. Your arguments make so much sense! I shall have to keep this tip in mind.. no more make-up under my nails!

  7. Nice review. This is the first time I see this miser! Thanks for sharing, I like to know all novelties :)

  8. Awesome product ! I would love to try it <3 <3
