I haven’t been married and have not attend many weddings, but my favorite tradition is probably the flower girls and ring bearers.

The exchanging of rings, I love that you have that ring on for the rest of your life.
The garter removal and throwing, and putting it on! Once I saw a young man, probably about 18 catch the garter, and an old woman, about 80 catch the bouquet! So, he had to put the garter on the woman!! IT was so embarrassing and funny!

Lighting the Unity Candle is my favorite tradition.
We just got married last month, and my favorite part was the send-off down the driveway (we got married in a friend’s backyard) – we did a “high five down the drive” where all our guests were lined up on either side of the drive & we ran down & high-fived everyone!
I like having a lot of people you care about as guests on your special day.
